Hey, That is a LOADED question! more info needed for an accurate answer. But first I would think good servicable tires, then a check of the braking system(new metallic,or ceramic pads/shoes here), Assuming that steering and suspension are adequite at this point, dollar for dollar the best performance item is a GOOD quality set of headers are the third item to purchase/install, next, on computer cars would be a performance chip( on carburator equipt vehicles I suggest an aluminum intake, then a proper carb). fourth, a set of differential gears proper to your application, fifth, Radar detector(this you will NEED), camshaft suitable for previous items, then, A suitable exhaust(flowmaster, or equal make), Then look at a good paint job, sound system ect. Always ensure vehicle is in safe operating condition BEFORE spending ANY funds on the other items, I have seen too many young people kill themselves with unsafe 'HOT RODS' due to unsafe vehicle made more dangerous by speed parts that came BEFORE safety! Good luck!
