		<description>You can buy a decent 5.1 PC speaker setup for around £50.  This will be a safety tested and reliable solution.

Or, you can try to run an old knackered DC powered car amplifier off AC mains current.  If you get it wired incorrectly, you could burn your house down.

It's your choice, though...</description>

You will need a high current 12V power supply.  

The impedance of the 'speakers you want to use will be at least as high as car 'speakers so that won't be a problem.</description>

		<description>yes it can you must just get a power converter that has got a earth, because if you use a normal 12v adaptor there will be a big humming noise, and u should look at the omes of the speakers</description>
